Аннотация. В статье рассматривается значение индустрии видеоигр и киберспорта как инструментов цифровой дипломатии США. Видеоигры представляют собой эффективный канал стратегической коммуникации США по формированию ценностных ориентиров молодежи, военному рекрутингу и политической мобилизации в рамках электоральных процессов. Геймификация активно используется американским правительством для контроля над сознанием людей в рамках концепции “мягкой делегитимации” в интересах подрыва авторитета иных центров силы в международных отношениях. Отдельное внимание авторы уделяют развитию киберспорта как новой формы медиа, представляющей собой уникальную форму коммуникации и развлечения.
