Аннотация. В статье показано возникновение новой концепции развития общества, антагонистичной идее экономического роста. Рассматривается смена акцентов в политических программах наиболее популярных среди массового электората партий, которые также во все большей степени защищают снижающиеся темпы экономического роста. Смена ценностей оказывается дополнительным фактором, который в долгосрочной перспективе обусловливает замедление темпов экономического роста. Роль концепции устойчивого развития ESG (ecology, social, governance) оказывается отрицательной для дальнейшего прогресса. Снижение темпов экономического роста одновременно с активным продвижением задачи энергетического перехода способствуют образованию диспропорций в инвестиционно-финансовой сфере, в долгосрочной перспективе способных привести к надуванию финансовых пузырей.
