Аннотация. Работа посвящена изучению влияния угрозы гиперзвуковых вооружений на эволюцию американской политики в области противоракетной обороны (ПРО). Автор анализирует специфику этой угрозы, рассматривает связанные с ней доктринальные и практические изменения, дает описание и характеристику планируемой оборонительной архитектуры, а также прогнозирует перспективы ее построения и влияния на стратегическую ситуацию.
