Аннотация. В последние годы американо-японское экономическое сотрудничество дополняется новыми направлениями, выходя на следующий уровень стратегического взаимодействия. Первостепенными становятся вопросы обеспечения экономической безопасности и расширения “технологического альянса” США и Японии. Приоритетное внимание в рамках новых двусторонних инициатив уделяется таким сферам, как контроль над трансфером технологий, восстановление роли промышленного производства, реструктуризация критически важных цепочек поставок, научно-производственная кооперация по широкому спектру задач развития цифровой экономики.
