Аннотация. В статье представлен комплексный анализ основных направлений и особенностей промышленной политики Индии с момента обретения ею независимости. Рассматриваются основные изменения в промышленной политике страны, их причины, а также перспективы. Эффективность политики на разных этапах анализируется с учетом результатов работы национальной обрабатывающей промышленности.
