Аннотация. Статья посвящена изучению роли и места Российской Федерации в американских планах по борьбе с глобальным потеплением. В контексте продолжающейся Специальной военной операции России на Украине анализируется возможность использовать наработанный ранее в климатической сфере потенциал взаимодействия между Москвой и Вашингтоном для нормализации двусторонних отношений. Особое внимание уделяется взглядам различных групп американского истеблишмента на российскую климатическую политику и возможности консенсуса по ее использованию в качестве основы для возобновления диалога. Делается вывод о том, что существующие противоречия между группировками не носят непримиримого характера, а климатический трек может стать отправной точкой процесса выстраивания нового формата российско-американских отношений в изменившемся мире.
