Аннотация. Рассматривается развитие ситуации с внутренним и внешним государственным долгом в государствах Азии. Пандемия COVID 19 потребовала от их правительств резко увеличить финансовую поддержку социальной и экономической сферы, что усугубило проблемы получения новых заимствований и их обслуживания. Многие страны региона неизбежно столкнутся с пиком долговых обязательств, необходимостью их реструктуризации и проведения трудных переговоров с кредиторами.
