Аннотация. Нарастающие противоречия между Китаем и США уже более 20 лет находят свое отражение в изменениях доктрин обеих стран и их политике в отношении развития современных вооружений. Отталкиваясь от картины возможного военного столкновения Пекина и Вашингтона в морском поясе Юго-Восточной Азии, можно проследить взаимное влияние гонки высокоточного оружия, противокорабельных баллистических ракет, систем ПРО морского базирования и систем гиперзвукового оружия, как и динамику соответствующих доктринальных установок. В последнее десятилетие стороны переходят к комплексному противостоянию в сфере высоких военных технологий, которое уже нельзя оценивать, оставаясь только в рамках концепции гонки вооружений.
