Аннотация. В статье рассматриваются процессы становления и институционализации общеевропейских партий (Европартий) как нового института в партийно-политической системе Европейского союза. Этот институт возник сравнительно недавно – в середине 1970-х годов, накануне первых общеевропейских выборов 1979 г. Представлены основные этапы институционализации Европартий и их фракций в европейском парламенте в политическую систему ЕС. Дан анализ современного состояния этих партий и влияния на него важнейших вызовов, с которыми столкнулся Евросоюз в последнее десятилетие: мировой финансово-экономический кризис, миграционный кризис в Европе, Брекзит, пандемия коронавируса. Представлены новые тенденции в развитии института Европартий, связанные с активным использованием в партийном строительстве новых коммуникационных технологий, а также появлением нового типа Европартий, выступающих за федерализацию Евросоюза.
