Аннотация. Эгейское море уже на протяжении десятилетий остается местом столкновения национальных интересов Греции и Турции. Это обусловлено его особыми географическими характеристиками, а именно наличием большого количества греческих островов. С их помощью Афины могут претендовать на значительные площади акваторий, дна и воздушного пространства. В первой части будут проанализированы историко-документальные основы турецко-греческих противоречий, в том числе связанные с демилитаризованным статусом греческих островов, и политико-правовые причины противостояния в воздушном пространстве.
