Аннотация. В статье рассматриваются ключевые аспекты ситуации вокруг ядерной проблемы Корейского полуострова (ЯПКП) в контексте современной политики США в отношении КНДР, анализируются новые приоритеты и эволюция подходов республиканской администрации по вопросам корейского урегулирования. Показано, что за последние годы политика Д. Трампа на этом направлении претерпела значительные изменения в сторону решительного отказа от применения “военной опции” и поиска переговорных путей решения ЯПКП. При этом особое внимание уделено анализу результатов, достигнутых в ходе американо-северокорейского диалога, а также причин, приведших к его стагнации.
