Аннотация. Статья содержит анализ новейших зарубежных концептуальных подходов к экономико-политическим аспектам трансграничной миграции. Автор приходит к выводу, что современные исследователи, понимая миграцию как имманентный обществу процесс, выявляют расхождения между странами входящей и исходящей миграции, различия между мигрантами разной квалификации, противоречия интересов предприятий, государственных институтов, мигрантов. Ответы на вызовы миграции они видят в поверхностных реформах миграционных режимов, иммиграционных правил и процедур, моделей привлечения квалифицированных специалистов.
