Социальная база и перспективы популизма в странах Запада

Аннотация. Социальная база популистских партий широка и не предвещает либерального конца истории. Электорат популистов наряду с теми, кто всегда был недоволен “системой” – рабочих, низкооплачиваемых служащих, безработных, включает представителей других социальных групп, обеспокоенных утратой культурной идентичности и традиционных ценностей. В то же время слабая поддержка со стороны специалистов, менеджеров и образованной молодежи заметно ограничивает электорат правых популистских партий. Их влияние будет определяться способностью находить союзников и попутчиков на внутриполитической и международной арене.
