Аннотация. В статье рассматривается эволюция институционального мандата НАТО и определяются пределы ее адаптивности, которые позволяют зафиксировать ключевые развилки, противоречия и перспективные направления развития блока в следующем десятилетии. Используя методику построения сценарного дерева и опираясь на результаты экспертного опроса, авторы заключают, что текущий торг между союзниками относительно распределения затрат и направлений деятельности не повлечет коренного пересмотра модели отношений в рамках альянса, который останется центральным институтом трансатлантической координации.
