Аннотация. Статья посвящена анализу трансформации системы содействия международному развитию в Великобритании с 1997 по 2016 г. в зависимости от смены у власти лейбористских и консервативных правительств. Уделено внимание оценке эффективности помощи, а также процессу межведомственного взаимодействия в реализации целей содействия международному развитию (СМР). Актуальность статьи заключается в том, что в ней на базе широкого круга документальных источников и научных исследований показана историческая эволюция подходов британских правительств к стратегическому планированию и реализации политики СМР.
