Аннотация. Старение населения угрожает глобальному Северу нехваткой рабочей силы и замедлением экономической динамики, усилением нагрузки на системы пенсионного и медицинского обеспечения, ростом масштабов бедности и социального неравенства и т. д. В то же время, общества развитых регионов мира способны амортизировать эти риски. Более того, удлинение продолжительности здоровой жизни приносит (по крайней мере, потенциально) “дивиденд долголетия”, способствуя сохранению в составе рабочей силы ценных продуктивных кадров и создавая расширяющийся спрос на новые категории товаров и услуг.
