
The second issue of the “IMEMO Laboratory” podcast, a project of IMEMO, has been released, within the framework of which the Institute experts share their thoughts and conclusions on current international problems, as well as on long-term trends in world politics, security and economy.
The podcast is hosted by Academician Alexey Arbatov, Head of the Center for International Security at IMEMO.
Whether a resumption of the strategic stability dialogue between Russia and the United States is possible in the new political realities and under what conditions? If the dialogue is resumed, will the existing contradictions between the sides persist? Does China's accelerated missile construction pose a potential threat to Russia? How would the growth of China's nuclear potential affect the US position in strategic stability negitiations with Russia? Is a trilateral format of negotiations possible?
The experts are Konstantin Bogdanov, Senior Recearcher at the Center for International Security at IMEMO, and Dmitry Stefanovich, Research Fellow of the Center for International Security at IMEMO.
