The seventh issue of the “IMEMO Laboratory” podcast, a project of IMEMO, has been released, within the framework of which the Institute experts share their thoughts and conclusions on current international problems, as well as on long-term trends in world politics, security and economy.

The theme of the podcast: "Cold War 2.0: US-China Confrontation”.

The podcast is hosted by Victoria Zhuravleva, Head of the Center for North American Studies at IMEMO, Cand. of Science (Politics).

Experts:

Konstantin Bogdanov – Senior Researcher of the Sector of Military-Political Analysis of the Center for International Security at IMEMO, Cand. of Science (Technology). 

Ilya Kramnik – Research Fellow of the Sector of US Foreign and Domestic Policy of the Center for Strategic Planning Studies at IMEMO.

Sergey Lukonin – Head of the Secto of Economy and Politics of China of the Center for Asia Pacific Studies at IMEMO RAS, Cand. of Science (Economics).

In this issue, IMEMO experts discuss the urgent and multifaceted topic of the US-China confrontation, which inevitably transforms the modern world order. The experts talk about the military and economic side of the relationship between the two superpowers and explain why the term "Cold War" is changing its historical meaning in our time.
