Eleventh issue of the IMEMO Laboratory podcast


he eleventh issue of the “IMEMO Laboratory” podcast, a project of IMEMO, has been released, within the framework of which the Institute experts share their thoughts and conclusions on current international problems, as well as on long-term trends in world politics, security and economy.

The theme of the podcast "Russia and India in a Changing World Order".

The podcast is hosted by Victoria Zhuravleva, Head of the Center for North American Studies at IMEMO, Cand. of Science (Politics).


  • • Nandan Unnikrishnan – Disttinguished Fellow and Head of the Eurasian Studies Program, Observer Research Foundation (ORF), India;
  • • Alexey Kupriyanov – Head of the Center of the Indo-Pacific Region, Cand. of Science (History), IMEMO.

The issue focuses on the current development of relations between Russia and India in the transforming world order. Experts discuss a wide range of issues: new challenges in bilateral relations, pressure on India from the West, India's aspiration to become the leader of the "Global South", military and political cooperation, the attitude of Indian society and elites towards Russia, prospects of food and migration policy, cooperation in the field of education and science
