The twenty-third issue of the “IMEMO Laboratory” podcast, a project of IMEMO, has been released, within the framework of which the Institute experts share their thoughts and conclusions on current international problems, as well as on long-term trends in world politics, security and economy.

The theme of the podcast is “US Public Diplomacy: the American Struggle for Hearts and Minds”.

In this issue, IMEMO experts touch upon current issues of US public diplomacy: what is public diplomacy in general, how it originated, developed, what areas it includes; structures and organizations that are significant for American public diplomacy; cinematography as an important tool of public diplomacy; how public diplomacy worked during the Cold War, how it works now, and what are its prospects under the new American administration.

The podcast is hosted by Alfia Khisiamova – Head of the International Conferences Sector of IMEMO.
