5The nineteenth issue of the “IMEMO Laboratory” podcast, a project of IMEMO, has been released, within the framework of which the Institute experts share their thoughts and conclusions on current international problems, as well as on long-term trends in world politics, security and economy.
The theme of the podcast is “Regional Elections in Germany 2024”.
In this issue, IMEMO experts talk about the regional elections held in Germany in September 2024, examine the ideology of two parties, Alternative für Deutschland and Bündnis Sahra Wagenknecht, discuss trends in the election campaign, and also touch upon the phenomenon of the protest electorate and the differences between East and West Germany.
The podcast is hosted by Alfia Khisiamova, Head of the International Conferences Sector.
