Abstract. The article is devoted to the analysis of social-economic reforms, internal political novations and foreign policy of socialists, who are in power in France. The author comes to the conclusion that measures of the increasing competitiveness and toughening of budget policy haven't led to the improvement of the French economy. There are many factors revealed that influenced on public support of the main political parties during spring 2014 municipal and Europarliament's elections.
