Abstract. The article deals with the main results of the 9th Ministerial Conference of the WTO. The most important outcome of the Conference is that for the first time in five years participants of the Doha round of trade negotiations managed to reach a consent on a number of important problems in international trade and, thereby, to bring negotiations out of the deadlock. The package of agreement covers the development assistance, simplification of procedures of trade and a number of questions, related to the trade in agricultural products. Participants of the Conference agreed to develop a plan of actions aimed at resolving the remaining items of the Doha round agenda.
