Abstract. The article embraces the main directions of foreign policy activity of South Caucasus states. Their interaction with major regional states — Turkey and Iran, as well as the EU and the U.S.’ engagement into geopolitical rivalry in South Caucasus, have been studied. Particular attention has been placed on relations between Russia and South Caucasus states and Russia’s interests and priorities in the region.
