Abstract. 60th presidential election was held in the United States in 2024. Ending with the unconditional victory of Donald J. Trump, as well as the Republican majority in the US Senate and House of Representatives, it became a significant event both for the country and for world politics. The Red Wave will determine Washington’s domestic and foreign policy for at least next two years, until the midterm elections in US Congress. New stage of American political system transformation has reflected in 2024 electoral process, which from the very beginning demonstrated turbulence and a violation of traditions. And by the time of the announcement of the results confirmed the demand for change that had formed in the US society.
