Abstract. In 2024, Russia partially managed to overcome its isolation due to successful dynamics in the BRICS and the Global South, but the number of acute problems in world politics has only increased. The securitization of foreign policy is irreversibly moving into the stage of militarization. The contradictions between the leading powers have deepened. The political dynamics in 2024 were triggered by the US elections, which intensified ideological divisions within Western democracies. The crisis of the existing model of liberal democracy and the world order of recent decades has become even more obvious.
