Abstract. Extreme tension in relations between Russia and the West at the turn of 2021–2022 entered a hot phase in the conflict in Ukraine. The conflict overshadowed the global priorities of recent years, caused shifts in geopolitics, socio-economic, energy spheres, changed the contours of Russian foreign and foreign economic policy, and also world balances at the regional and global levels.
