Abstract. In the expired year of 2020 Turkey started large-scale implementation of ideological installation of the Justice and Development Party. Based on «moderate Islamism», a Neo-osmanism and a Pan-turkism Turkey authorities continued to strengthen positions in the occupied areas in the north of Syria, to strike blows to the Kurdish groups, continued armed intervention in Libya on the side of the Government of National Unity. Continuation of illegal drilling on the shelf of the Mediterranean Sea escalated confrontation with the states of the region. In the autumn Turkey actively supported Azerbaijan in its war against Nagorno-Karabakh, having provided arms and military advisers. National economy fell into a difficult situation not only because of the coronavirus pandemic, but also because of the active armed expansion of Turkey in the region.
