Abstract. The article presents unique data on the Russian agricultural sector, which has been gathered by the Russian Economic Barometer for more than 25 years. There is published statistics reflecting the attitude of the heads of agricultural enterprises towards the economic policy of the government. There are presented data revealing the degree of importance for the agricultural producers of various factors limiting production and capital investments.
