Abstract
The article reviews the UK Defence Equipment Plan 2014 and previous plans and outlines some of the problems with their implementation. The authors compares the UK Defence Equipment Plan with the Russian State Armaments Program for 2011–2020 and offers several recommendations based on the British experience.
