Global Conflict and the Countours of a New World Order

Abstract. In June 2022 the XX International Likhachev Conference at the St. Petersburg University of Humanities and Social Sciences was organized. Many well-known Russian and foreign scientists, politicians and diplomats took part in the conference. Traditionally the topics of the conference were interdisciplinary. This year considerable attention was paid to the discussion of the ongoing profound changes in the world economy and politics, accelerated during the global conflict between Russia and Western countries. The editorial board publishes a brief overview of some of theses on this issue presented at the Conference.
