One of the main articles of issue no 5 is devoted prospective of economic developments for the principle regions and countries of the world under conditions of the aging of population in Eastern Asia and population growth in South Asia and Africa. Author examines pair of probable scenarios (success and failure) for the West and Japan, China, India and Africa.

In article titled “United Nations: redefining goals” its authors compare two strategic documents of UN: Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) adopted by UN Summit 2015 and addresses priorities for 2030 and Millennium Development Goals expired in 2015. The article demonstrates the importance for Russian Federation under its UN obligations to elaborate two documents: Sustainable Development Strategy of the Russian Federation and the 2030 SDGs adapted national priorities. We also offer our readers the article investigates the main achievements and failures in Turkey’s economic and social development during the period of the Justice and Development Party (JDP) in power (since 2002).
