Our readers are offered an analysis of Russia’s foreign trade performance during recent 5 years after acute phase of the global economic crisis. A special attention is paid to the influence of such factors as reduction of world oil prices and war of sanctions between Russia and Western countries.

We publish a set of articles devoted to the great powers’ policies in Arctic and to non-military threats to security in Arctic region. Problems of the network society theory are also treated. An attempt is made to integrate the network approach and the frontier theory in order to prove the heuristic potential of such a synthesis in discovering the logic of the network society flexible borders’ development.
