The final issue of the journal 2016 offers the summarizing analytical materials concerning both economic and political spheres. The first article is devoted to actual problems of the world economy’s long cycles in XXI century; the second one explores the transition periods in world politics.

The analysis of East Asia’s prospects of development becomes traditional for the journal; in particular, the Russia–China transboundary situation in the context of Eurasian integration projects is considered. The issues of international security and strategic stability are discussed in the article devoted to the missile warning system.
