Abstract. The article aims at presenting a comprehensive analysis of the EU-Russia cooperation in migration in the framework of migration dialog. Migration policies in EU-28 and Russia including such spheres as migration and development, highly qualified migration, combating irregular migration are being compared. Main accent is made on the potential of the migration dialog as a tool for a fruitful exchange of experience and strengthening of bilateral cooperation and trust.
