What are the true goals of marine environment and its biodiversity protection, is ecology a real science, in which way the modern law of the sea develops, what role the UN and other international organizations in respect of World Ocean’s space and resources management play – all these problems are covered in a book by Professor A. Ovlaschenko, which critical review is presented in the article.
