Abstract. The Russian drive for economic modernization, improvement of the investment climate and development of the regional infrastructure provides an optimistic look at the prospects of broadening of the economic cooperation between Republic of Korea and Russia. Currently the level of such cooperation is not sufficient. The Korean companies behave apprehensively while considering the projects of investment. The main tasks now are to map out a new strategy of cooperation with Russia, to make stress on regional ties, to determine the key projects in different industries of the Russian economy wit.
