Abstract

The article is dedicated to the presidential and parliamentary elections in France in 2012. The author analyzes programs of candidates and main stages of political competition during these two campaigns. In conclusion, the reasons of Francois Hollande's victory are underlined, and a prognosis for essential destinations of his policy as a French President is made.
