Abstract. The article discusses implications of increasing the role of the Islamic factor in world politics. Special attention is paid to the fact that the growth of Islamic radical and extremist organizations, as well as the increased international terrorism update the problem of Islamic-Christian dialogue. The author appeals for starting a constructive interaction between Muslims and Christians.
