Abstract. Basing on the analysis of nuclear weapons’ functions in the contemporary international system, the author asks the question: whether there a demand for these features will persist, and if yes, who and how will perform these features? That is the main task that occurs when an attempt is made to analyze the peculiarities of international order in a post-apocalyptic world.
