Abstract. The article is concentrated on the issues relating to the correlation between morality and professionalism in the foreign policy of the states. The functioning of a modern state apparatus and a system of political governance cannot be imagined without rationally designed, firmly planted and formal rules, without professional policies and strict control mechanisms.
