Abstract. The state of the Russia–Canada trade and economic relations in 2009–2010 is analyzed, the bottlenecks of cooperation are educed, perspectives of further intercommunications extension are outlined. The implementation of large joint projects in the agro-industrial sphere allows to elevate contacts between the two countries to higher standarts.
