Russian TNCs: Expansion Continues

Abstract. In the article, the summary by the research team of the Center for European Studies at the Institute of World Economy and International Relations, Russian Academy of Sciences, on performance of the 20 major Russian TNCs in 2006–2008 is presented. A careful analysis conducted by specialists of the Center convincingly demonstrated that these companies remained critical players on the foreign direct investments (FDI) global market even amidst the profound financial crisis which started in 2007, and educed particularities of their activity in this period of time.
