The journal “World Economy and International Relations” has been published monthly since July 1957 (12 times a year). It is the leading reviewed academic edition in Russia and CIS on actual theoretical and scientific-practical problems of international policy, world economic relations, development of individual countries and regions.

EDITORIAL POLICY

The Journal is the main periodical of the Primakov IMEMO, the leading research institution in the system of the Russian Academy of Sciences (until 1991 – USSR Academy of Sciences) on international issues, which employs authoritative experts on virtually all aspects of world politics and economics.

The objectives of the journal are:

• To familiarize the scientific community with the latest research of Russian and foreign scientists in the field of world economics and politics, theory and practice of international relations, political theory, economic theory, as well as political and socio-economic development of individual countries and regions of the world
• Influence by proactively promoting certain research topics on the formation of scientific discourse in the field of these scientific disciplines

In order to realize these goals, the journal works on the implementation of the following tasks:

• Carrying out, based on relations with the scientific community, analysis of the market of scientific literature, materials of conferences and seminars of various levels in order to identify the most relevant research and development, reflecting the latest achievements in the field of scientific disciplines profile for the journal
• Participation in scientific conferences, seminars, symposiums
• Expansion of the geographical and institutional composition of the author's asset, while maintaining the same high requirements to the quality of published materials
• Updating the composition of the editorial board in order to attract recognized domestic and foreign experts on international, socio-economic and political topics
• Using various forms of communication to familiarize the potential readership with the content of the journal
• Maintaining constant feedback between the editorial board and the readers and authors of the journal
• Promotion in the Russian and international scientific and information space of the best materials and articles published in the journal
• Regular work with authors aimed at presenting the results of their research on the pages of the journal in accordance with Russian and international standards
