Abstract. Foreign investment and foreign trade play a key role in the development of the Kyrgyz economy, which has demonstrated rapid growth in recent years. This article examines the main areas of investment cooperation and trade relations of Kyrgyzstan, which define its foreign policy priorities. Although China and Russia continue to hold leading positions in foreign economic relations with Bishkek, relations with Turkey and European countries are becoming increasingly important for the republic. Investment cooperation with Kyrgyzstan is becoming one of the forms of competition among leading global players for influence in the republic amid the geopolitical standoff between Russia and the West. For its part, the republic's leadership is pursuing a policy of intensifying foreign relations in all areas, as evidenced, in particular, by Kyrgyzstan’s chairmanship of the Organization of Turkic States in 2024-2025 and the republic's chairmanship of the SCO in 2025-2026.

Keywords: Kyrgyzstan’s economic growth, investment in the Kyrgyz economy, investor countries in the Kyrgyz Republic, trade relations in the Kyrgyz Republic
