Political and Legal Aspects of Eurasian Integration

Abstract. The article shows the main stages of formation of Eurasian ideology, its characteristic features and significance. It analyzes the reasons and necessity of the formation of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) as the basis of Eurasian integration in the Near Abroad, its role in the implementation of the ideas of the Greater Eurasian Partnership (GEP). It characterizes the main essentials of the EAEU development, the main directions of its activities in political, legal, economic, social, cultural, humanitarian and educational spheres of society. Particularly detailed coverage of the EAEU activity and its results in the first half of the 2020s is given. Essential parameters of the legal aspects of Eurasian integration on the example of the EAEU activity are given, an attempt is made to forecast the realization of the main directions of the EAEU activity in the foreseeable future.  It is concluded that the EAEU has shown its viability and ability to solve its goals and tasks in various areas.
