The 3rd issue for 2024 of the journal “Russia and the New States of Eurasia” has been published. The issue opens with the article on the economic situation in Ukraine. As before, much attention is paid to Belarus. The authors focus on the Belarusian political opposition in emigration and the activities of the Belarusian Green Party before its liquidation in 2023. The researchers analyze also the current political problems of Moldova. They explore the contradictions between Gagauzia and Chisinau and politization of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Moldova. Traditionally, considerable attention is paid to Transcaucasia. First of all, the role of the Armenian Apostolic Church in the life of Armenian society after the Velvet Revolution of 2018 is considered. The main political and ideological trends existing in Georgia are also analyzed, which is particularly relevant in the context of the parliamentary elections held in Georgia on October 26, 2024. In addition, the researchers study the influence of Turkey and Iran in the South Caucasus. Great attention is paid to the Central Asian region. The analysis of the impact of the war in the Gaza Strip on the policies of the countries of Central Asia and Transcaucasia is of considerable interest. The authors also explore the foreign policy of Kazakhstan and the economic development of Kyrgyzstan. The analysis of the transit potential of the Central Asian region conducted within the framework of the anthropological approach is of great interest.
