Abstract. The work is devoted to the consideration of the process of formation of the international ecological (climatic) regime. The subject of the study is the peculiarities of the formation of the EAEU climate regime, initiated by Russia. This is done in the context of understanding the EU climate regime, in connection with which the EU climate policy is analyzed, in comparison with the corresponding politics of Russia. It is politics, on the basis of which Russia, together with other participating countries, forms the international regime of the EAEU today. In conclusion, a forecast is given for the further development of the EAEU climate regime in the context of the environmental policy of Russia and its allies.
