The 2nd issue for 2024 of the journal “Russia and the New States of Eurasia” has been published. The issue opens with the articles on Moldova’s foreign and internal policy. The researchers study Moldova’s drift to the West, the phenomenon of moldovenism, and the situation around Transnistria. Much attention is paid to the Caspian region – the article published in the issue examines the US policy towards the Caspian countries. As before, the researchers focus on Central Asia, and Turkey’s policy in the region is being studied by them first of all. The authors analyze Ankara’s strategy towards the Central Asian countries and the main areas of cooperation between Turkmenistan and Turkey. Considerable attention is also paid to the Transcaucasian countries. The researchers explore the current state of Russian-Georgian relations and the priorities of Armenia’s foreign policy. The formation of the EAEU climate regime and the role of transport personnel in labor migration are also considered in the issue.
