Abstract. The article discusses the problems and prospects for the formation of the “Armenia–Iran–India” transport corridor. The geopolitical and geo-economic interests of the project participating states are identified. It is established that the implementation of the “Armenia–Iran–India” corridor will make it possible to diversify the international transport corridor “North–South”, increasing its competitiveness in relation to the “East–West” corridor, designed to provide transport links in Europe–Caucasus–Asia logistics, bypassing Russia. The prospects that the formation of the “Armenia–Iran–India” corridor opens for the EEU, aimed at developing trade, economic and strategic ties with Iran and India, are studied. Trade and economic relations of the EEU with India and Iran are analyzed. It is shown that Armenia, as a member of the EEU, which has a common border with Iran, can act as an important link within this corridor, ensuring its further development along the Persian Gulf – Black Sea line. The capabilities of the Iranian port of Chabahar and the Pakistani port of Gwadar are assessed and considered to be in the strategic interests of India and China, respectively. The interests of potential beneficiaries of the “Armenia–Iran–India” corridor are specified.

Keywords: the “Armenia–Iran–India” transport corridor, EEU, Russia, Chabahar
